WHAT SETS DINAH DOODLES APART FROM OTHER BREEDERS?
We pride ourselves on making each and every puppy a loving part of our family. This means taking care of them just like family. Each parent undergoes professional health and genetic testing to rule out disease, providing our clients with a healthy, happy puppy. We also introduce Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to each puppy starting at 3 days old. ENS is scientifically proven to make training your dog easier down the road. All our litters are also well-socialized before they come home with you. They're bathed, brushed, and handled to ensure an easier time acclimating to life with their new families. We even offer Puppy Yoga classes at least once with every litter, inviting you and anyone interested to come spend an hour playing with puppies and getting to know their precious personalities. Lastly, we cannot reiterate enough the love and care they receive from us starting the moment they're born. Our puppys' first weeks aren't spent in crates or behind fences. They're loved, hugged, played with, and socialized.
DO YOU SHIP YOUR PUPPIES?
Shipping live animals in any fashion is extremely stressful on them. They could be exposed to extreme heat and cold, hunger, severe weather, turbulence, and a host of other surprises that come with travel. We will happily deliver your puppy to you in person within 240 miles, plus the price of gas. Should air travel be necessary, we will work with you to arrange a "puppy nanny" delivery service. We work with a host of friends and family members to make sure our puppies are safely delivered anywhere in the continental United States.
HOW DO YOU ENSURE A HEALTHY DOG?
Let's be honest. No one can permanently guarantee a healthy pet (and if they do, we urge you to find an ethical breeder). However, we have done extensive groundwork to better ensure your new dog lives a long, healthy and happy life. All our parents are genetically health tested using Embark®, which tests for more than 250 genetic health conditions. As a business it is our job to provide you with a healthy pet. As breeders it is our responsibility to improve the breed for the good of the bloodline and its future.
WHEN CAN I TAKE MY PUPPY HOME?
Puppies can be taken to their new homes no earlier than 8 weeks old to ensure proper weaning from its mother. At this age, all puppies will have had their first round of shots, and wormed at least three times. All dogs go home with a Puppy Bag, which includes: a blanket that smells like his litter mates, toys, pee pad, waste-bags, AKC paperwork (for Australian Shepherds and Poodles), shot records, and instructional care.
DO YOU PROVIDE BREEDING RIGHTS TO YOUR DOGS?
No, we do not grant breeding rights to any of our puppies. As breeders it's our mission to promote healthy, friendly dogs and improve the breed standard. To diminish irresponsible "backyard breeding," we ask all buyers to sign a contract promising to spay or neuter their puppy when it comes of age, as determined by your veterinarian.
WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR MY NEW PUPPPY?
We know you are going to absolutely adore your new best friend, but unfortunatley sometimes life throws a curve ball and difficult choices must be made. If for any reason you find that you can no longer care for your dog, please contact us first. We have a zero judgement policy, and will lovingly take the animal back no questions asked. We love our dogs, and they are always a part of our family. We will keep them out of the animal shelter, and into a new loving and welcoming family home.
